...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MORGAN...
NORTHEASTERN BATH...SOUTHEASTERN FLEMING AND ROWAN COUNTIES THROUGH
415 PM EDT...

At 351 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ramey, or 7 miles west of Morehead, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Morehead, Marshall, Salt Lick, Cranston, Ramey, Wagner, Blairs Mills,
Wyoming, Elliottville, Peasticks, Moore`s Ferry, Christy, Hilda,
Sharkey, Cogswell, Zilpo, Pelfrey, Hamm, Polksville, and Crix.

THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
123 and 145.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Cave Run Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
southeastern and east central Kentucky.
