...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN WAYNE...SOUTHWESTERN
LAUREL...SOUTHEASTERN PULASKI...CENTRAL MCCREARY AND NORTHWESTERN
WHITLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 AM EDT...

At 1052 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Burnside to near Alpine to Denney to
Slavens. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitley City, Burnside, Parmleysville, Slavens, Sloans Valley,
Parkers Lake, Barrier, Cumberland Falls S.P., Gregory, Bronston,
Clio, Huxley, Mount Victory, Deering, Ritner, Bunch, Krupp, Hightop,
Denney, and Kidder.

THIS INCLUDES Kentucky Highway 80 in Laurel County between mile
markers 1 and 4.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
