...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BRADFORD...NORTHWESTERN
ALACHUA...UNION AND SOUTHERN COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 500 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Providence, or 9 miles west of Worthington Spring,
moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph, excessive cloud-to-ground
         lightning, and minor flooding due to heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
         occurring. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake City, Lake Butler, Worthington Spring, Ichetucknee Spring,
Columbia, Alachua, High Springs, Fort White, Worthington Springs, and
Palestine Community.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
