.DISCUSSION...

A hot and humid summer-type airmass is expected today with isolated
showers possibly forming over central Marion county from 11 AM- 1 PM,
and then increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms developing
through the rest of this afternoon. Chance of rain is near 60-70 percent
through 6 PM. Some storms may contain very heavy rainfall, frequent
lightning, and gusty winds. High today around 93. Winds will be light
from the south and variable at times.

Tonight, showers and storms likely from 6 PM-8 PM, then decreasing
to a chance of showers and storms until 11 PM. Lows in the mid 70s
tonight. Winds will be light outside of any showers and storms.

Independence Day, a near repeat of scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms, with the best chances in the afternoon hours.
Highs again will be near 91 to 94 degrees. Winds will be light
and variable outside of any showers and storms.

Max Heat index both days will be near 108.
