...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT OKTIBBEHA...EASTERN CLAY AND
CENTRAL LOWNDES COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM CDT...

At 1252 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Prairie to near
Muldrow to near Longview. Movement was east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Starkville, Columbus, West Point, Caledonia, Artesia, Longview,
Sessums, Oktoc, Bent Oak, Kolola Springs, Waverly, Tibbee, Muldrow,
Columbus AFB, and Pala Alto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
