...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL BRING HEAVY RAIN AND 40 MPH WIND GUSTS
TO NORTH MYRTLE BEACH...

At 1027 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
over the Barefoot Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach, or near the
North Myrtle Beach Airport, moving northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
North Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach Airport, Little River, Wampee,
Barefoot Landing Area Of North Myrtle Beach, Briarcliffe Acres,
Atlantic Beach, and Sea Coast Medical Center.

This includes SC Highway 31 between mile markers 14 and 24.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized flooding. A Flood Advisory remains in effect. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
