The National Weather Service in Gray Maine has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Kennebec County in south central Maine...
  Northern Waldo County in south central Maine...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 431 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 6 miles north of Thorndike to near Belgrade, moving
  east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Augusta, Waterville, Fairfield, Thorndike, Oakland, China, Clinton,
  Belgrade, Manchester, Liberty, Winterport, Palermo, Unity, Knox,
  Benton, Albion, Burnham, Fayette, Frankfort, and Brooks.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 114 and 131, and
between mile markers 134 and 138.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
