.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM

High pressure builds over the western Atlantic early this week,
bringing south to southwesterly winds through the middle of the week.
Winds become gusty near the immediate shoreline during the early
afternoon hours each day with the strengthening sea breeze. Locally
dense fog develops at times, lingering into at least Wednesday. A
cold front then approaches the waters on Wednesday, and likely
crosses the waters on Thursday. There is potential for strong
thunderstorms to move offshore this evening, especially across York
county, with thunderstorms again possible on Wednesday that could
produce gusty winds.
