978 WGUS83 KGRR 290944 FLSGRR Flood Advisory National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI 544 AM EDT Sat Jun 29 2024 MIC005-015-077-081-139-159-291545- /O.CON.KGRR.FA.Y.0006.000000T0000Z-240629T1545Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Allegan MI-Barry MI-Kalamazoo MI-Kent MI-Ottawa MI-Van Buren MI- 544 AM EDT Sat Jun 29 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM EDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 540 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - The heaviest rain will likely shift east of the region by 700 am. Radar estimates that 1.5 to 3.0 inches of rain fell over much of the advisory area. Thus some urban and poor drainage flooding is likely occurring, especially over Allegan and northern Van Buren Counties. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Holland, Allegan, South Haven, Zeeland, Wayland, Otsego, Plainwell, Middleville, Bangor, Caledonia, Fennville, Saugatuck, Freeport, Martin, Beechwood, Gull Lake, Holland SP, Van Buren SP, Dorr and Alamo. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
