...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY IN
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS AND SOUTHERN DUNDY COUNTIES IN SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA THROUGH 415 AM MDT/515 AM CDT/...

At 355 AM MDT/455 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 11 miles west of Benkelman, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Cheyenne County in northwestern Kansas and southern Dundy Counties in
southwestern Nebraska, including the following locations... Parks and
Max.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
