...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THOMAS...NORTHEASTERN LOGAN...
WESTERN SHERIDAN...EASTERN SHERMAN AND NORTHWESTERN GOVE COUNTIES
THROUGH 500 PM MDT/600 PM CDT/...

At 417 PM MDT/517 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms 9 miles southwest of Brewster, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Brewster around 530 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Edson, Angelus, and
Mingo.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 21 and 83.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
