At 850 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Bertrand to Danbury. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Arapahoe, Edison, Wilsonville, and Hendley around 855 PM CDT. Atlanta around 900 PM CDT. Oxford and Beaver City around 905 PM CDT. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
