This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Primarily before 9 AM today, the entire area will have a chance
for thunderstorms, but with the overall- highest chances of severe
weather focused near and south of the Nebraska-Kansas border. Wind
gusts to 70 mph and hail to the size of quarters may be possible
in the strongest storms across north central Kansas.

However, of greater concern will be the 3 to midnight time frame,
as isolated to scattered storms are expected to first develop in
counties north of Interstate 80, and then drop south-
southeastward with time. There is the potential for some of these storms
to become severe, and our entire area is now under a Slight Risk
for severe storms. The main threats appear to be hail up to around
ping pong ball size, and wind gusts to around 60 MPH. By roughly
midnight, the vast majority of our area should be storm- free.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday night through Sunday thunderstorm potential:
Between Thursday and Sunday, there are various, intermittent
thunderstorm chances within the area. At this time, the overall-
highest chances for the most widespread activity appears to focus
Friday evening and overnight.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...Spotters are encouraged to
report any instances of hail and/or severe wind gusts.
