At 747 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across a broad area from Forest Lakes southwestward. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in nearby drainages. HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Forest Lakes, Mogollon Rim Visitor Center, Sinkhole CG, Colcord Ridge CG, Willow Springs Canyon Lake, Two Sixty Trailhead, Haigler Creek, Crook CG, Mogollon CG, Woods Canyon Lake, Rim Campground, Forest Road 171 Campground, Sinkhole Campground, Haigler Canyon Campground, Crook Campground, Spillway Campground, Mogollon Campground, Woods Canyon Lake Campground, Alderwood Campground and Airplane Flat Campground. This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Woods Canyon Lake Campground, Forest Road 237 Camping Area, Forest Road 171 Camping Area, Mogollon Campground, Sinkhole Campground, Larson Ridge Camping Area, Forest Road 9512E Camping Area, Mogollon Rim Campground and Upper Canyon Creek Campground.
