...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN GRANT...
SOUTHEASTERN WILKIN AND SOUTHEASTERN RICHLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 400 AM
CDT...

At 326 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fairmount, or 13 miles south of Wahpeton, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fairmount, Wendell, Campbell, Nashua, Doran, Blackmer, and Sonora.

This includes Interstate 94 in Minnesota between mile markers 60 and
61.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
west central Minnesota...and southeastern North Dakota.
