...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of western Laurens,
northwestern Dodge, southeastern Pulaski, north central Wilcox and
northwestern Johnson Counties through 930 PM EDT...
At 919 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated
strong winds ahead of a line of thunderstorms along a line extending
from near Danville to near Roddy to Finleyson, and moving east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...40 mph wind gusts preceding rain or lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Strong winds will occur before any rain or lightning. Do
not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Dublin, Eastman, East Dublin, Chester, Dexter, Dudley, Cadwell,
Rentz, Union, Gresston, Plainfield, Tuckers Crossroad, Ocmulgee
Banks, Harlow, and Chappells Mill.
