...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL HIDALGO COUNTY
THROUGH 900 PM MDT...

At 830 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles northwest of Cotton City, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cotton City, Steins, Road Forks, Lordsburg Playa, and Granite Gap.

This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 1 and
9.
