.DISCUSSION...Dry and climatologically normal conditions
prevail today. Recoveries are expected to be poor for some
ridges again tonight, then improve slightly over the weekend
as mid-level moisture moves in. There is a slight chance
for thunderstorms this weekend, mainly in NE Trinity county late
Saturday. Confidence is low on the timing and location, and chances
looks better toward Siskiyou county. Above normal temperatures
are expected again Saturday into early next week, with highs over
100 in the warmer valleys.
