...VERY HOT TEMPERATURES WITH EXTREMELY LOW RH WILL INCREASE FIRE
DANGER FOR ALL INTERIOR ZONES THROUGH MONDAY...
.DISCUSSION...Very hot conditions with single digit RH has
continued today. Enhanced terrain winds are expected again this
evening especially in Trinity County with gusts up to 20 mph.
These wind combined with very low RH will create localized
critical conditions, mostly in terrain funneled areas such as the
Trinity River Valley. Temperatures will slowly moderate next
week, however it will remain hot, very dry with gusty diurnally
driven winds all week. The exception will be coastal areas and
adjacent river valleys where northerlies offshore will result in a
slow return of the marine layer by Tuesday.
