This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

Scattered thunderstorms are possible on Independence Day, mainly
in the afternoon and evening. There is a Slight Risk for severe
weather, level 2 of 5, northwest of a Dyersville, Iowa to Vinton,
Iowa line. In addition, there is a Marginal Risk, level 1 of 5,
across the remainder of the outlook area. The main risks are
large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Saturday night through Monday.
However, it is too early to determine the severe threat and rain amounts.
