...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Pecatonica River at Freeport affecting Stephenson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Tuesday evening at 845 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING TO MONDAY, JULY
22...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pecatonica River at Freeport.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening to Monday, July 22.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Minor street
  flooding begins in Freeport and water affects a few back yards
  east of the Pecatonica River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 10.7 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Wednesday evening to a crest of 13.7 feet early Friday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Monday, July
    22.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
