Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing.
Several county roads are under water and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 12.2 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall early Saturday morning. It will rise to
12.1 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall again but
remain above flood stage.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
