...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN
OAKLAND AND MACOMB COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 AM EDT...

At 938 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking rain and embedded
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Clarkston to near
Oxford to 6 miles northeast of Macomb Township. Movement was east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Troy, Pontiac, Mount Clemens, New Baltimore, Richmond, Romeo, Oxford,
Sterling Heights, Rochester, Clinton, Armada, Memphis, Macomb
Township, Clarkston, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Utica, New Haven,
Lake Orion, and Keego Harbor.

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 73 and 96.
 I-94 between mile markers 237 and 249.
 M-39 between mile markers 16 and 24.
 M-53 between mile markers 16 and 24.
 M-59 between mile markers 38 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
