...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LENAWEE AND WASHTENAW COUNTIES
THROUGH 200 AM EDT...

At 100 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Jackson to near Cement City to near Clayton.
Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Ann Arbor, Adrian, Ypsilanti, Saline, Tecumseh, Milan, Chelsea,
Dexter, Blissfield, Hudson, Morenci, Manchester, Salem, Onsted,
Deerfield, Addison, Britton, Cement City, Clayton, and Dixboro.

This includes the following highways...
 I-94 between mile markers 155 and 187.
 M-14 between mile markers 1 and 15.
 US-23 between mile markers 26 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM EDT for
southeastern Michigan.
