...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT TAMA COUNTY THROUGH 715 PM CDT...

At 639 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Dysart to 4 miles south of Traer to 11
miles south of Reinbeck. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail and additional
         rainfall up to one inch.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Ponding of water on roadways, low visibilities,
         and rises in small streams and creeks.

Locations impacted include...
Toledo, Tama, Traer, Dysart, Gladbrook, Garwin, Chelsea, Clutier,
Elberon, Lincoln, Vining, Tf Clark State Park, Toledo Municipal
Airport, and Union Grove State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
central and northeastern Iowa.
