...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT FORD...EAST CENTRAL FINNEY...
SOUTHWESTERN HODGEMAN...NORTHEASTERN MEADE...NORTHEASTERN GRAY AND
CENTRAL CLARK COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1018 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles south of Kalvesta to 8 miles south of
Ft. Dodge to near Ashland. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Dodge City, Bloom, Ft. Dodge, and Clark State Lake around 1025 PM
  CDT.
  Kingsdown around 1030 PM CDT.
  Ford and Wright around 1035 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
