...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM MDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN DAWES COUNTY...

At 253 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles south of Slim Butte to near Chadron to near
Red Cloud Campground, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 242 PM, a wind gust of 71 MPH was
         reported at Chadron Airport.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Chadron, Red Cloud Campground, Chadron State Park, Dawes County
Fairgrounds, and Chadron State Park Campground.
