Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
441 PM EDT Fri Sep 20 2024

Dry weather continues into the evening across the Keystone State
before a weak cold front over the upper Great Lakes brings a few
showers and thunderstorms into northwestern Pennsylvania later
tonight. Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s to
the low 60s. Showers and thunderstorms will spread eastward
through the day on Saturday as the front pushes eastward. Some of
the storms could be on the strong side during afternoon and
evening. Highs on Saturday will be mainly in the 70s, though
temperatures could reach the low 80s for the western part of the
state..

Showers taper off Saturday night, with only an isolated shower
over southeastern PA on Sunday. More in the way of cloud cover
will likely result in cooler temperatures on Sunday. The warmest
readings will be across far western Pennsylvania.
