...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EFFINGHAM...SCREVEN AND BULLOCH
COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM EDT...

At 401 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Statesboro, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Statesboro, Springfield, Guyton, Brooklet, Newington, Oliver,
  Leefield, Egypt, Captolo and Dover.

This includes I-16 between mile markers 119 and 121.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
