...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Edgefield
County through 915 PM EDT...

At 844 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Edgefield, or 16 miles north of Belvedere, moving northeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Edgefield, Johnston, Lick Fork Campground, Strom Thurmond High
School, Cleora, Harmony, Pleasant Lane, and Edgefield Federal
Correction Institution.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
