...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CATTARAUGUS COUNTY
THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ashford, or 12 miles northeast of Salamanca, moving northeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and brief torrential downpours.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Brief torrential downpours will result
         in ponding of water in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Franklinville, Ischua, and Lyndon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
