...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON AND
EASTERN ALLEGANY COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM EDT...

At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles northeast of Belfast to Wellsville.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and brief, torrential downpours.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Brief torrential downpours will result
         in ponding of water in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Dansville, Wellsville, Alfred, Scio, Andover, Belmont, Angelica,
Ossian, Canaseraga, Almond, West Almond, Birdsall, Ossian Center,
Swain, Knight Creek, and Stannards.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 390 between exits 4 and 5.
 Interstate 86 between exits 31 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
