720 FNUS55 KBOU 070211 FWFBOU Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 811 PM MDT Sat Jul 6 2024 .DISCUSSION...Tonight and Sunday...A front tonight will bring cooler and more humid conditions for Sunday, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms expected across much of the Front Range mountains, foothills, and plains. Wetting rain will be rather localized, but lighter winds and higher humidity will keep fire weather concerns low. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sunday night through Thursday... Fire weather conditions remain low in the long-term forecast. Generally, a warming and drying trend will occur Monday through Wednesday with scattered afternoon storms mainly for the foothills, Park county, and parts of the Palmer Divide. Widespread low relative humidities begin to drop as low as 15 percent Thursday afternoon mainly across the plains through next weekend. Although winds are expected to remain light. ...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds... ...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds... ...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid... ...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone groups and may not match the actual forecast values shown in those groups...
