...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MARENGO AND
SOUTHWESTERN HALE COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM CDT...

At 125 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Eutaw to near Dug Hill to near Kinterbish.
Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Demopolis, Linden, Jefferson, Myrtlewood, Greensboro Municipal
Airport, Pin Hook, Sawyerville, Arcola, Chickasaw State Park,
Wedgeworth, Duffys Bend, U.S. 80 and AL 28, Tompkinsville, Old Spring
Hill, Selden Lock And Dam, Gallion, Cedarville, and Demopolis
Municipal Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
