...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MCLEAN...NORTHWESTERN
BURLEIGH...OLIVER AND NORTHEASTERN MERCER COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM
CDT...

At 438 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hannover, or 16 miles southeast of Beulah, moving northeast at 60
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Beulah, Garrison, Hazen, Washburn, Underwood, Wilton, Center,
Stanton, Max, Riverdale, Pick City, Coleharbor, Beulah Bay Recreation
Area, Hazen Bay Recreation Area, Hannover, Falkirk, Dakota Waters
Recreation Area, Lake Sakakawea State Park, Hensler, and Emmet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central North Dakota.
