Temperatures will cool into the 70s to lower 80s for most places. The weekend will then see isolated to scattered thunderstorms at times, with high temperatures remaining in the 70s to lower 80s. A warming and drying trend is expected for next week, as a dome of upper level high pressure develops slowly east across the western United States into the Rockies. $$
