This damage was determined to be from a developing tornado that went on to impact the Marathon County side of town within NWS Green Bay`s warning area. ...Colby WI Tornado... Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 70 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.83 miles Path Width /maximum/: 46 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 06/17/2024 Start Time: 08:59 AM CDT Start Location: Colby / Clark County / WI Start Lat/Lon: 44.9046 / -90.3161 End Date: 06/17/2024 End Time: 09:01 AM CDT End Location: Colby / Marathon County / WI End Lat/Lon: 44.9086 / -90.3002 Survey Summary: The tornado started on the western side of Colby within Clark County (NWS La Crosse warning area) before crossing the county line into Marathon County (NWS Green Bay warning area) where it continued northeast before dissipating. Clark County Emergency Management confirmed a garage door was blown in on the west side of a large manufacturing facility on the west side of Division Street.
