Cedar River at Charles City affecting Floyd County. .Upstream locations picked up anywhere from 0.75 to locally over 2 inches of rainfall from around Osage to Austin Minnesota. Additional rainfall is expected this afternoon and evening with 0.5 to 1 inches of rain expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Will reassess where the heaviest precipitation axis falls this afternoon and upgrade to a warning as needed. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding. Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings.
