...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN RANDALL COUNTY THROUGH
845 PM CDT...

At 752 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Umbarger, or 11 miles west of Canyon, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Canyon, Umbarger, Mescalero Park, and Buffalo Lake.

This includes Interstate 27 between mile markers 108 and 114.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
