...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL RENSSELAER COUNTY
THROUGH 230 PM EDT...

At 153 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Averill Park, or 9 miles east of East Greenbush, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Troy, Berlin, Wyantskill, Averill Park, West Sand Lake, Wynantskill,
North Greenbush, Sand Lake, Poestenkill, East Nassau, South Troy,
Totem Lodge, East Poestenkill, North Stephentown, Albia, West
Stephentown, Eastmor, Millers Corners, Taborton, and Barberville.

This includes Interstate 90 near exit 10.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
