east central New York and eastern New York.

   Heat Advisory.

There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms into tonight,
except a Slight Risk across the western Mohawk Valley. Thunderstorms
may produce isolated to scattered instances of downed trees, tree
limbs and power outages due to damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Much of eastern New York and western New England have been placed in
a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday with damaging wind
gusts serving as the primary threat. However, isolated instances of
large hail and a tornado, mainly north of Albany, cannot be ruled
out.

There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms for most of the
region Wednesday. Thunderstorms may produce isolated instances of
downed trees, tree limbs and power outages due to damaging wind
gusts.
