Wind speeds 14 thousand feet and above are free air.
Wind gusts are not included.
Temperatures are in Fahrenheit.

.SYNOPSIS...

Stormy conditions will continue on the mountain through much of
the weekend. Overnight tonight could see snow accumulations up to
6 inches at or below 14000 feet. The strong southwesterly winds
are expected to peak overnight Friday with the 17000 feet base
camp seeing winds up to 55 mph. The strong southwesterly winds
will impact the 14000 foot base camp around 10:00 AM AKDT Friday.
The winds at the 7000 foot base camp should remain around 15 mph
until Saturday afternoon when they have a chance of strengthening.
With the strong southwesterly winds developing at or above 14000
feet Friday night wind chills could get below -40 degrees at that
elevation.

winds around 15 mph. Snow accumulations of 6 inches.

.FRIDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Chance of snow. Low 5 to 10 below.
West-Northwest winds shift to West-Southwest and increase to 45 to
55 mph.

.OUTLOOK SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
Strong winds of 45-55 mph should be expected from 17000 feet to
the summit on Saturday. The 7000 foot base camp could see some
strong winds Saturday afternoon of 25 to 30 mph. The confidence is
low, but the potential is there for it. More snow is expected each
day on the mountain from 7000 feet to 17000 feet. Sunday evening
through Monday could see some heavy snowfall as another weather
front impacts the mountain.
