Wind gusts are not included.

.SYNOPSIS...

Snow chances will be returning Wednesday afternoon as the weather
front begins to approach the mountain from the northwest.
Northwesterly winds will be strengthening at or above 14000 feet
Wednesday afternoon. The 7000 feet base camp will not see the
stronger winds until the front arrives Thursday. We are expecting
the strongest winds on the mountain to occur from 2:00 PM AKDT
Thrusday to 9:00 AM AKDT Friday.

.WEDNESDAY...Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy. Chance of snow
in the afternoon. High 0 to 10 below. Northwest winds 15 mph
early, increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Chance of snow. Low 5 to 20
below. Northwest winds 30 to 35 mph.

.OUTLOOK INDEPENDENCE DAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
Thursday will see a low from the northwest of the mountain to
begin to move towards the mountain. This will bring stormy
conditons to the mountain. This low could bring winds above 45 mph
Thursday afternoon through the overnight hours. Winds are looking
to weaken to around 30 mph Friday morning around 9:00 AM. These
strong winds would be for at or above 14000 feet. The 7000 foot
base camp could see winds 25 to 30 mph Thursday afternoon through
the overnight hours. Through Saturday the 7000 feet base camp
could see 20 mph winds. At or above 14000 feet will see continued
snow chances and winds around 30 to 35 mph.
