A tough of low pressure will focus across eastern South Dakota and
western Minnesota today, with scattered off and on showers rotating
across the area. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible as well. There
will be breaks in the precipitation, particularly west of the
Missouri River during the mid to late morning hours and west of the
James River this evening. Dry weather will return late tonight into
early Friday morning, before a 20 percent chance of afternoon
showers and thunderstorms returns Friday afternoon.

Cool and humid conditions are expected today, with highs in the upper
60s and low 70s. Temperatures tonight will fall into the upper 50s to
near 60 degrees, before rebounding into the mid 70s to near 80
degrees Friday afternoon.
