At 204 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Elizabethtown, or 22 miles east of Questa, moving southwest at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Angel Fire, Eagle Nest, Taos Ski Valley, Cimarron Canyon State Park, Eagle Nest Lake State Park, Elizabethtown, Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park, and Ute Park.
