...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SANDOVAL COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM MDT...

At 521 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mariposa, or near Rio Rancho, moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Los Ranchos De
Albuquerque, Northern Meadows, Enchanted Hills, Mariposa, Cabezon,
Vista Hills, and Rio Rancho Intel Area.

This includes Highway 550 between Mile Markers 4 and 9.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
