...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DE BACA AND CENTRAL
GUADALUPE COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM MDT...

At 1208 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Puerto De Luna, or 14 miles southeast of Santa Rosa, moving southeast
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sumner Lake State Park and Sumner Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.
