...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL QUAY AND
SOUTHWESTERN CURRY COUNTIES THROUGH 245 AM MDT...

At 213 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles south of Ragland, or 31 miles northwest of Clovis, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central Quay
and southwestern Curry Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor your preferred
media outlets and NOAA Weather Radio for additional information and
possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
