Storm coverage will favor areas across the central mountains and eastward today, with the west seeing a dramatic reduction in minimum relative humidity. Drier conditions will be seen areawide on Thursday and high pressure pushes in from the west, and areas across the central mountains and westward will see minimum humidity fall into the low double to single digits. Thunderstorms will reenter the forecast for the central mountains and eastward, with a slight downtick expected in coverage on Saturday. Gusty northwest winds will combine with extremely low humidity on Sunday to create critical fire weather conditions across the northwest plateau on Sunday. Humidity will improve areawide on Monday but western zones will remain dry with minimum RH in the low double digits.
