At 514 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated another round of thunderstorms with heavy rain moving northeast across the warned area. Up to 1.75 inches of rain have already fallen around Quemado. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Omega and Quemado. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 27 and 47, State Roads 32 and 36, Largo Creek, Mangas Creek, and McAlister Draw. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
